METHODOLOGY FOR TEACHING ELEMENTS OF ALGORITHMIZATION AND PROGRAMMING
Abstract. In the modern era, rapid developments in digital transformation and information technology have rendered the acquisition of algorithmization and programming skills a strategic imperative within the education system. This article investigates the "Methodology for Teaching Elements of Algorithmization and Programming" aimed at fostering algorithmic thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills among school and university students. The primary objective of the research is to enhance educational quality by transitioning away from traditional theoretical teaching methods toward the integration of visual programming environments (Scratch, Blockly), interactive tasks, and project-based learning (PBL) models. The methodology section systematizes pedagogical experiments, assessments of student learning dynamics, and step-by-step implementations of practical programming tasks. The study demonstrates that applying visual blocks and pseudocode during the transition phase from visual algorithms to text-based programming languages (e.g., Python) significantly increases mastery rates. The findings indicate that the proposed comprehensive methodology directly influences not only the instruction of syntax but also algorithm optimization and the development of engineering thinking. This research serves as a practical tool for teachers, methodologists, and curriculum designers.
